Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and proactive Estate Maintenance Manager to join our team on a private country estate in North Wales. This is a varied, hands-on role offering long-term potential for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in high standards, and can turn their hand to a range of maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out general maintenance and repairs (e.g. painting, basic plumbing/electrics,)
Lay and maintain fires in estate houses; replenish supplies
Maintain gardens and grounds: mowing, weed control, spraying
Operate garden machinery (chainsaw certification a plus)
Manage waste and recycling for the estate
Assist contractors as needed (walling and fencing experience would be a bonus)
What We’re Looking For:
Strong practical skills and a flexible, “can-do” attitude
Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with maintenance tools
Self-motivated and capable of working independently or as part of a team
Previous experience in a similar role preferred
Chainsaw certification beneficial
Driving license and own vehicle are essential due to rural location
