Crynodeb

This role will support the Finance Business Partner across all aspects of financial information including monthly reporting, reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting and ad hoc requests.

Role Requirements
The role will entail but will not be exclusive to:

Prepare monthly management accounts with supporting variance analysis and commentary
Full responsibility for balance sheet reconciliations
Be a subject matter expert on the respective BU results
Prepare, review and challenge budgets, business plans and forecasts
Maintain financial control processes
Proactively suggest and implement process improvements
Liaise with BU stakeholders on a regular basis in order to help them understand financial results
Liaising with auditors both internally and externally
Providing balance sheet and P&L analysis
Other ad hoc finance tasks
Be involved in projects as required
Candidate Requirements
Essential

Professional Accountancy Part Qualification ACCA/CIMA/CA/ACA
Degree in Finance or business related subject or equivelant qualification.
Either have trained within a reputable accountancy firm or will have experience in a similar position.
Experience in branch accounting is desirable.
Strong experience in preparation of monthly management accounts, reconciliations, audit involvement.
Experience in dealing with difficult stakeholders & communicating with non-finance stakeholders at all levels.
Experience working within a fast-paced commercial environment.
High degree of problem solving skills required.
Excellent communication skills.
Strong stakeholder management skills.
The role offers the opportunity for Hybrid working and is dependent on commercial demands.
