Are you looking for an exciting new role within our Finance team. Care UK is an awarding winning private care company with over 160 care homes across the United Kingdom. We are seeking an enthusiastic Cashiering Team Leader to join our vibrant and dedicated team.

The role: Supporting team members to make sure that operational processes and procedures are being followed, the chosen candidate will be in charge of helping to provide an accurate and efficient cashiering function in a strong control environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the recruitment and induction of Cashiering team members
Assist with the setting of clear goals and measure the Cashiering Team objectives and KPIs
Act as point of contact to care homes for all Banking related enquiries
Review and authorisation of proposals including Petty cash and Residents Monies sign off, weekly refund runs
Liaising with Finance Operations team and wider colleagues to ensure that queries and outstanding issues are resolved promptly to prevent delay to allocation of bank statements
Support in the provision and delivery of training programmes for Home Managers and Home Administrators
Actively contribute and support in projects that involve Cashiering implementation with consideration of all areas of Cashiering, including but not exhaustive to processes, audit/SOX compliance and resource/team structure
What We're Looking For:
Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience of billing and sales ledger
In-depth working knowledge of the Billing platform CareSys and PointClickCare
Strong analytical and system process skills always looking to resolve problems
