Summary
Our aim is to provide a comprehensive training in the management of a wide range of facial plastic surgery conditions. In particular, the fellowship offers exposure to nasal surgical procedures as well as surgical and reconstructive management of the head and neck skin cancer patients. Outpatient commitments include general and specialist clinics as well the ENT emergency clinic. Our department has close connections with the University of Birmingham with Professor of Head & Neck Surgery. In addition, the ENT team contributes to the skin MDTs and the facial palsy clinic. From an academic perspective, the department is currently involved in national clinical trials and there is plenty of opportunity to undertake research during the fellowship.
