TeacherActive is proud to be working with a fantastic 2-form entry Primary School in Stechford, Birmingham, who are currently looking for a compassionate and reliable Teaching Assistant to join their SEN Classroom. In this role, you will work closely with 8 children, aged across Early Years and Key Stage 1, all of whom have additional needs, with a focus on Autism.

Role Details:

• Position: Full-time, long-term role for the entire academic year

• Classroom Setting: A nurturing and supportive environment dedicated to children with additional needs

  
  

• Students: 8 children with Special Educational Needs, primarily Autism

  What We’re Looking For: We are seeking a Teaching Assistant who:

  • Has experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs

    
    

  • Can follow instructions and work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons

    
    

  • Has a positive, patient, and empathetic nature

    
    

  • Is skilled at building strong relationships, ensuring the children feel safe, comfortable, and supported

    
    

  • Is reliable and committed to creating a positive impact in the classroom
