We’re looking for a Group Radiation Safety Assurance Manager (GRSAM) to lead our Trust-wide approach to radiation safety assurance. This is a high-impact leadership role working across the Barts Health NHS Trust – one of the UK’s largest NHS providers – with responsibility for shaping and delivering our vision for world-class safety, quality and governance across services using radiation.

What You’ll Do:
The Group Radiation Safety Assurance Manager (GRSAM) has delegated responsibility to achieve high standards of radiation safety and assurance for the Trust, including the on-going review and implementation of the Trust’s Radiation Safety and Assurance strategy. They are responsible for the continuing development of a proactive radiation safety culture throughout the organisation and helping the Trust to realise its vision for radiation safety management. The postholder will also be responsible for the line management of the Group Radiation Safety Assurance Coordinator and the Group Quality Standards Imaging (QSI) team, which include the QSI Manager, QSI lead and QSI coodinator.
