The Company
This successful company assembles bracketry and conveyor systems to integrate their systems into parent machines. Every job is unique, from small clamp and mounting arrangements to full conveyor lines, including wiring and electrical panel integration. They use 3D models to aid mechanical assembly and wiring schematics for the electrical assembly.
The Job
As a Wireman / Electrical Workshop Engineer, you will join a small team of skilled engineers in an open-plan, modern workshop.
Responsibilities:
• Building and wiring electrical control panels
• Mechanical bracket assembly following design drawings
• Assembly of belt, chain and roller conveyors
• Cutting and preparing in-house-made items
• Use of 3D printers
About You
You should have a good mix of the following skills and experience:
• Panel wiring and diagnosing faults with an electrical background
• Able to read electrical wiring schematics and understand mechanical diagrams
• Point-to-point wiring
• Excellent marking out skills
• Computer literacy
