Summary

We are looking for an experienced software engineering technologist who is passionate about software development and automation that wants to be part of the team providing a centrally supported portfolio of scaled, integrated services in our cloud-hosted infrastructure.

Qualifications and Requirements

Strong experience working on public cloud platforms like AWS or Azure (any associate/professional certification would be preferred).
3+ years of experience in software development, including deep knowledge of at least one of the following languages: Python, GO, Java.
Service development, including highly interactive web application experiences, visualization development and integration, access/login integration, and other content and asset development for an integrated product experience delivered via web application with supporting APIs.
Integration of test driven development (TDD) or behavior driven development (BDD) for build and deployment practices to validate functional delivery prior to certification and exposure to application customers.
Strong experience building Serverless applications on AWS platform.
Experience in application monitoring and log analytics tools (Datadog, New Relic, Splunk, ELK), with a solid understanding of how to implement effective automated application monitoring and system in a Commercial off the Shelf platform.
At least 3+ years working with cloud based infrastructure in AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, EC2, S3, RDS, SNS, etc.).
3+ years building with infrastructure-as-code and configuration management tools (CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, AWS Systems Manager, etc.).
Develop automation tools, scripts or software for maintaining each platform, and to enable self-service capabilities for users.
Experience with using container technologies or deploying a microservices architecture.
A proven track record of using version control systems and automated build tools for continuous integration and deployment (GitHub, Artifactory, Jenkins and Chef) in multiple recent projects.
Demonstrated experience leading multiple large-scale deployments of applications hosted on AWS, including automating every aspect of delivering those applications and ongoing support of the full stack once in production.
Good database knowledge of SQL, NoSQL, MongoDB, Redis, ElasticSearch
