The EMEESY children's kidney network at Nottingham Children's Hospital is looking for an experienced paediatric nephrology nurse to join the team.
You will be a clinical and professional role model with a passion for the delivery of high quality clinical care and the support and development of others. You will be an effective team player but also able to plan and organise your own workload, possess excellent communication skills, and an ability to teach families and health professionals. You will be working as part of a dynamic and forward thinking multi-professional team offering key opportunities to develop your career as a nurse specialist
The successful candidate will lead, manage and develop the paediatric home haemodialysis service alongside a band 6 nurse and the wider multi-professional team.
To lead, manage, develop and deliver a high-quality Children and Young Peoples Home Haemodialysis service. Act as a clinical expert within the field of paediatric nephrology and a professional resource to the multidisciplinary team in the acute and community setting and throughout the EMEESY Network. Also act as an advocate on behalf of the child and family.

Lead and manage the home haemodialysis service. Manage the band 6 nurse specialist. Provide cover in the absence of the lead nurse.
Manage a caseload of patients
Participate in the paediatric renal nurse on call service
Provide expert practice and specialist advice in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care.
