We are looking to appoint a junior clinical fellow to our innovative and ambitious Plastic Surgery department which is expanding clinically in terms of consultants, workload and increasing sub-specialisation for a period of12 months from July 2025.
The post holder will be required to participate fully in the education and training of medical students, trainee doctors, paramedical, nursing and other appropriate personnel.

• Responsibility for assisting in providing plastic surgical services to the Trust
• Examining and clerking in patients prior to both elective and emergency procedures
• Supporting the Consultant led ward round each morning Monday – Friday
• Taking responsibility for inpatient care on the ward alongside the Advanced Clinical Practitioners.
• Completing discharge summaries and request forms for investigation
• Supporting a 1 in 5 SHO level on-call rota
• Active involvement and participation in the clinical audit programme
• Delivery of emergency care in the Hand Assessment Unit
• Supporting the operating teams in theatre and treatment rooms.
