Utilities Contract Manager*
Description
As a Utilities Contract Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of utility contracts to ensure efficient operations and cost-effectiveness. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to negotiate and maintain contracts, monitor performance, and resolve any issues that may arise. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to strategically plan for long-term utility management. Responsibilities
Negotiate, review, and manage utility contracts to ensure favorable terms and cost-effectiveness.
Collaborate with internal teams to monitor utility usage and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
Analyze utility data and trends to forecast future needs and develop strategies to optimize utility services.
Oversee compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain accurate records of utility contracts and payments.
Resolve disputes or issues with utility providers and escalate when necessary to ensure timely resolution.
Coordinate with vendors and contractors to implement utility projects and upgrades as needed.
Stay informed about industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to utility management to drive continual improvement.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
Proven experience in contract management or procurement, preferably in the utilities industry.
Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build effective relationships with vendors and stakeholders.
Solid understanding of utility services, regulations, and market dynamics.
Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data to make informed decisions.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present findings and recommendations to key stakeholders.
Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Hours Per Week: 35.00
