What skills and experience we're looking for

The Priory Lincoln Academy are looking to appoint an ambitious and dynamic Senior Leader to play a prominent role in our journey to become an inspirational place to work and learn. The successful candidate will need to be an ambitious leader who wishes to develop professionally and to make a real difference to the lives of our students. At Priory Lincoln we are proud of the community which we serve and are driven by the improvement journey on which we have embarked upon. The role will be to lead and develop outstanding practice in SEND, line managing the SENDCo and working closely with the Deputy Headteacher responsible for Culture and Inclusion.

The Inclusion remit will involve leadership within the pastoral structure in order to support students on their journey to flourish as well-rounded adults. The development of inclusive practice is a key academy priority and this extends to the support required for all groups of students to achieve their individual excellence and for all adults to provide the highest quality provision. We use the Great Teaching Framework and therefore there is close working between Culture & Inclusion and Curriculum & Standards branches of the Senior Leadership Team.

Priory Lincoln Academy believes in our motto of Achieving Individual Excellence Together and the successful candidate will be responsible for the leadership and development of colleagues and students to achieve this aim. Strong interpersonal, organisational and decision-making skills are vital for this role, as is a commitment to demonstrating our Trust Values of courage, passion, curiosity, generosity and wisdom. As a Senior Leadership Team we have a growth mindset about our own development and we are role models to our learning community.
