HOURS: CASUAL BANK STAFF

SALARY: £12.60 - £13.00 per hour

Become a Casual Project Worker with Local Solutions and provide practical support to young people in either our Hostel in Liverpool or our accommodation in Mold. This is an exciting opportunity to help develop independence in young people and play a role with a leading Health and Social Care Charity.

CENTRAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

o Provide a pro-active trauma informed, person centred & strength-based intervention service through individual safety planning and personal support.


o Focus and prioritise service users who face additional barriers to accessing support and engaging in safety & support planning.


o Deliver best practice housing and support service, appropriate to clients needs.


o Attend regular one to one supervision meetings and team meetings.


o Delivering clearly defined outcome targets for service users, ensuring quality assessments are consistently maintained to the highest level.


o Implementing policies and procedures to ensure effective service delivery.


o Promoting the highest levels of service user consultation, communication, and partnership in all aspects of service delivery.


o Ensuring that the development of and access to education, training and employment opportunities are central to the service.


o Ensure that key performance indicators (e.g. voids, arrears and quality standards) are met within the upper quartile for the sector.


o Help maintain accurate and confidential case management records and databases and contribute to monitoring information for the service.


o Comply with data protection legislation, confidentiality and information sharing policy and procedures and all legislation connected to your work.


o Support colleagues and partner agencies, through awareness raising and institutional advocacy, in order to provide the best possible service for service users.


o Respect and value the diversity of the community in which the services work and recognise the needs and concerns of a diverse range of service users ensuring the service is accessible to all.


o Remain up-to-date and compliant with all organisational procedures policies and professional codes of conduct and uphold standards of best practice.


GENERAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

o A knowledge & understanding of providing support, advice and advocacy to vulnerable clients and the ability to communicate this knowledge


o Experience of working with people with complex needs


o Experience in delivering person centred support within similar setting


o Maintain appropriate written and electronic case management records


o To be aware of and adhere to all Local Solutions policies.


o To carry out other duties appropriate to this post, as necessary or as requested.
