• Position : Store Manager - Niche Jewellers HQ
• Employer : Niche Jewellers
• Gross annual salary : £28,000 to £34,000 (depending on designation)
• UK location : Edinburgh, Scotland
• Working days / hours : up to 37 / 45 hours within a 5 day week
• Benefits : 28 days paid holiday (pro rata), income boosting incentives, employer’s workplace pension, and more

As well as being commercially aware, you will be responsible for delivering a high standard of customer service to our clients and maintaining a beautifully presented store, the role involves Implement of TDI (Theft Deterrent Inventory), Vault storage during and end of each day of business. Inventory management. Ability to manage a number of projects at the same time and the ability to prioritise your own workload.
Duties and responsibilities as summarised above include;
•Implement systematic procedures for securely storing merchandise in vaults at the end of each business day. Ensure the vault is organized and that high-value items are stored properly to prevent damage.
•Implement TDI (Theft Deterrent Inventory) and maintain security within the store, supervising the handling of merchandise and cash.
•Inventory Management: Order stock, receive deliveries, and conduct regular inventory audits.
•Oversee banking functions related to the store.
•Recruit, train, and supervise staff, ensuring high performance and morale.
•Sales Targets: Set and achieve sales goals, motivating the team to meet targets.
•Customer Service: Handle customer inquiries and complaints, providing exceptional service.
•Pivotal role in coordinating with our e-commerce team to ensure seamless integration between our online and physical store
•Displaying showcase jewellery
•Developing timelines and schedules for completion of bespoke orders
•Overseeing all work done as part of the project
•Ensure site security and health & safety measures
•Ensure duty of care for the wellbeing of all personnel engaged in the project
•Monitor project progress and setting deadlines
•Mentor and provide guidance to junior employees, where applicable
To qualify for selection you must have the following minimum requirements:
•Eligibility to live and work in UK
•Successful project management with strong leadership and management skills
•The knowledge and capability of working to the highest quality standards with state-of-the art equipment
•Be familiar with brand project, such as materials, teams and technology
In addition you should also have and be :
•Achievement and results driven and have an eye for detail
•Critical thinking and excellent on the spot problem solving skills
•Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for luxury retail
•Outstanding organisation and time management skills with the ability to work to deadlines
