Role: Van Drivers
Location: Dartford & the surrounding areas
Hours: Various - 6am to 8am start time - average 8 to 10 hour shifts
Pay: £13 per hour - minimum 8 hours pay - overtime after 8 hours at £19.50 per hour
Extrastaff are currently recruiting for a Van Drivers. Companies operating in a wide range of sectors - flooring, general haulage, paper and packaging supplies, food products, metal, timber, building materials, tyres, medical supplies, etc.
Benefits for Van Drivers:
- Weekly pay
- No weekends
- Paid PAYE - no umbrella companies
- Use of company temp APP
- Overtime paid after 8 hours at £19.50 per hour
- Minimum 8 hours pay per shift
- Flexibility - choose which days you want to work
- Variety of job selections
Van Driver Duties:
- Multi-drop & long distance deliveries
- Loading and/or unloading of vehicle
- Use of pump truck - electric or manual
- Completion of paperwork & use of PDA/scanning device
- Securing load - use of ratchet straps
- Use of curtain side or tail lift vehicles
- Possible cash handling
Requirements for Van Drivers:
- UK driving licence (B category) - max 6 points on licence (cannot accept DR, DG, DD, or TT offences)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Relevant experience essential
- Drive the vehicle safely and in compliance with the relevant rules and regulations
