Key Responsibilities – South Elmsall RDC

  • Support the Warehouse Operations Manager with the smooth, efficient and cost-effective running of the warehouse.

  • Work closely with the South Elmsall Management team to deliver strong results across all warehouse operations.

  • Take ownership for health and safety during your shift and help build a strong safety-first culture across the site.

  • Manage shift costs and productivity to help the site meet its budget, including controlling stock loss.

  • Deliver great service to our customers by keeping service disruptions low and protecting product availability.

  • Lead continuous improvement across your shift and support a culture of improvement across the warehouse.

  • Be a positive role model and strong leader – coaching Team Managers, Warehouse Operatives and Clerical colleagues using our Winning Manager behaviours.

  • Ensuring the smooth running of the daily Warehouse operation, enabling the required level of service to be provided to the customer at all times.
  • Ensuring the receiving, storing, picking and dispatch of goods in the correct manner to agreed productivity levels and within budgetary constraints, whilst maintaining a safe working environment through effective team management.
