Pluviam Environmental is a niche environmental consultancy based in the Midlands and Yorkshire. We specialize in delivering cost-effective and sustainable designs for various development sites, ranging from Natural Flood Management with NGOs to CSO spill reduction SuDS interventions. Our services include site drainage surveys, SuDS design, hydraulic calculations, NFM, Peat Recovery, Water Security, and Flood Risk Assessments.
Role Description
This is a full-time remote or partial office based role for an Environmental Engineer with an emphasis on hydraulics and sustainable drainage design at Pluviam Environmental. The role will involve handling day-to-day tasks related to drainage design (primarily SuDS), runoff treatment, catchment assessment, hydraulic modelling (InfoDrainage or Causeway), GIS input (QGIS/ScalGo) and flood risk assessment/mitigation.
Requirements
• Degree in relevant subject.
• 2 years post-graduation experience.
Desirable Criteria
• Experience in drainage design including sustainable drainage systems.
• Knowledge of regulations and design best practice.
• Competence in the use of AutoCAD and Hydraulic modelling.
• Proven track record in coordinating and delivering technically excellent projects on time and to budget.
• A natural curiosity for developing innovative solutions.
• Working towards relevant professional qualification.
• Full driving licence.
• Located around Leeds ideally.
