Summary

Moorfield House Surgery Practice Nurse Garforth and Rothwell (Leeds) At least 3 days per week (21 hrs). Days TBA. Salary dependant on experience (band 5 or band 6 equivalent). Free onsite parking, free uniform, 30 days holiday, NHS pension. Moorfield House is a 10,940 pt suburban / semi-rural practice covering Garforth and Rothwell. Our patients are generally from less deprived backgrounds, and we have a larger than average proportion of older people. We also look after 3 care homes. We are currently seeking an additional Practice Nurses to join our stable and committed team. The practice currently has 3 partner GPs and 7 salaried GPs, 3 HCAs and 3 PNs. We are actively seeking to expand the PN team. We pride ourselves on being a friendly practice taking care of each other. We highly value patient focused, caring people with a commitment to teamwork and a collegiate approach. We provide an excellent service to our patients. In March 25 of the 560 patients that submitted F&F surveys 97% rated us or good or better and 89% rated us as very good. Our Nurses perform a key role in the broader team of professionals at the practice. We have a lovely GP team. excellent reception and back-office teams, in house pharmacist and a very approachable management. Moorfield House is well supported by the resources of the LS25/L26 PCN (including Pharmacists & FCPs etc). We have two sites with roughly equal populations approximately 6 miles apart. Garforth is a recently renovated (but long) converted house. Rothwell is a purpose-built health centre. Both are nice places to work. All our staff work seamlessly across these two sites. We welcome applications from PNs at all career stages but you must have experience of working in General Practice, have the essential treatment room skills and ideally qualifications in LTC Management, either Asthma or Diabetes ideally both, The key to fitting in at our practice is a commitment to excellent patient care by working collaboratively as a long-term member of our team.
