About the Role
To work a therapist as part of a Multi - systemic therapy team delivering specialist interventions within a licensed model. To manage a caseload of families and be responsible for providing MST interventions applying a home based specialist service including out of hours support helping families where there is a risk of a young person coming into care.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
· Qualified to Bachelor’s degree level in relevant field, e.g. social work, clinical /forensic psychology, mental health nursing/health specialism or relevant equivalent.
· Experience of direct use of therapeutic model of working with families e.g. CBT, SFBT, systemic family therapy or behavioural approaches
· Strong understanding and practical experience of the case management process including assessment, analysis, planning and intervention and review and how it promotes good outcomes for children and families
· Sound knowledge and understanding of legislation, policy and practice guidance relating to children and families and it’s application to practice
- This post is covered by the statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) (English Language Requirement for public sector workers) and therefore the ability to speak fluent English, is an essential requirement for the role.
- A DBS enhanced check for a regulated activity is required for this post.
- The role requires you to participate in the on call rota.
