Job Responsibilities
As a Registered Mental Nurse (RMNs), you will:
Assist with personal care, mobility support, feeding, and hygiene.
Support individuals with dementia, learning disabilities & complex care needs.
Administer medications and maintain accurate records.
Monitor vital signs, care plans, and overall patient well-being.
Work collaboratively with nurses, doctors, and care teams.
Ensure compliance with infection control, health, and safety regulations.
Risk Assessment & Crisis Management ( Identify risks related to self harm, suicide, aggression, or relapse)
Use de-escalation technique (PMVA)
Engage in talking therapies.
Record keeping and documentation.
Job Requirements
NHS Experience (Compulsory)
CV – Must cover full employment history back to school leaving age.
Right to Work in the UK (provide one of the following):
Passport
Share code
EU ID Card
Visa or Birth/Adoption Certificate
Fitness to Work Certification – Must provide a Non-EPP Certificate of Fitness and serology reports confirming:
Measles, Mumps, and Rubella (MMR) Immunity,
Varicella (Chickenpox) Immunity
Hepatitis B (Titre Report >100 or primary course completion)
Tuberculosis (TB Vaccination Scar or Mantoux Heaf Test)
**Serology report will be used to apply for your certificate of fitness via our chosen approved provider.
NMC Registration – Statement of Entry & Monthly Checks.
Enhanced DBS Check – Must be on the DBS Update Service or obtain a new one.
(Overseas Police Check required if you lived abroad for 3+ months in the last 5 years.)
Professional References – 3 years’ worth, at least two professional references covering the last 2 years. **All references must be business / work verified**
