Job overview

We’re looking for a temporary Web Assistant to support the launch of the Faulty of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences (FHASS).

Working under the direction of a Web and Digital Content Officer, key elements of your job will be to:

  • use the University's CMS to create effective and accessible web pages
  • assess and edit current content for transfer to new pages
  • liaise with departmental and faculty colleagues and other stakeholders in relation to content creation, review and approval
  • source and edit assets such as photos

About you

To be a suitable candidate for this position you will have:

  • great attention to detail in compiling information
  • strong communication skills, able to communicate complex information clearly
  • an organisational, structured, methodical approach to work
  • motivation and focus to be able to work independently

Contract and contact

This post is offered on a part-time (0.6FTE), temporary basis. Starting as soon as possible, the role is expected to continue until 26th September 2025. There are options for a hybrid work pattern, or you can choose to be fully on-campus. We are happy to talk about flexible working and would welcome colleagues seeking a secondment opportunity.
