What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for a friendly and efficient clerical assistant to work at Rosecroft Primary School. You will be expected to provide a high standard of clerical support and uphold the strictest confidentiality to the school.

The person appointed will display good interpersonal skills, enthusiasm, energy, flexibility, reliability and a positive attitude. They must also have the ability to work independently and as part of a busy team.

General duties for this role will include:

• ensuring that visitors and callers are courteously and appropriately received and that all visitor safeguarding procedures are followed
• receptionist duties including dealing with phone calls and email communication
• Updating pupil files, drafting and proofreading letters, photocopying, filing & resource management.
• Supporting the administrative team and wider school as necessary to ensure the best possible experience for children and families
• Possibility of accompanying children and staff on school visits including swimming.
