Job description
To lead the church to grow larger by providing kingdom leadership in the area of evangelism. To work with and under the direction of the senior pastor as a member of the pastoral team to enable the church to focus on the Great Commission and to equip the church to carry out the five functions of the New Testament church: evangelism, discipleship, ministry, fellowship, and worship. To preach and teach. To be able to travel within the UK and outside the UK for evangelism and propagation of the gospel.
The applicant must have minimum of 2 years previous experience in church outreach and church planting. Due to covid-19, church need someone as our evangelism director, And must be born again and spirit filled.
DUITIES
The Applicant duties includes ability to preach the word of God and deliver Sermons
The Applicant will coordinate with the senior pastor and leadership team to plan and implement a vital, comprehensive outreach ministry for the congregation to reach people of all ages with Christian love and healing and street mission
The Applicant and evangelism team will set goals for congregational growth (in faith and numbers) and the evangelical church planting strategy of each branches of the church.
The Applicant will engage with others to carry out programs of membership care, including plans for growth in devotional life and distribution of devotional materials.
Person Specification
An ideal candidate must
-have a Pentecostal background
- be able to provide pastoral care for the congregation.
- be flexible and able to attend relevant church meetings
- possess at least one of these spiritual gifts: servant-hood, teaching, exhortation (encouragement), leadership, faith, discernment, apostleship, administration, and evangelism.
- show evidence of commitment to Christ and passion for telling by word and action the good news of God’s love through Jesus Christ to all people.
- must have the ability to listen to and communicate with people of all ages; a concern that others know Christ; the ability to work with church members, visitors, and unchurched people; and skills for organizing meetings and planning and evaluating effective evangelism programs and events.
- should show genuine interest in responding to the hopes and concerns of people in the community.
-sound knowledge of the religion.
-Willing to travel on mission within and outside the UK.
Period of work per week:
30 Hours per week,
5 days per week Saturdays and Sundays essential work days.
