We are a family-owned business which has been well established for over 25 years.
We are the largest independent used vehicle dealer in the Stockport and Greater Manchester area, owning 4 sites, Dace Motor Company, Dace Specialist Stockport, Dace German Centre and Dace Specialist Manchester.
With our group expanding we now stock in excess of 600 used vehicle across our 4 branches.
At Dace Motor Group we are very proud to be the first business to be approved by Stockport Trading Standards.
You don’t have to be a complete petrol head to do the role, but Motor Industry experience is required. As is a friendly, happy face to build relationships with our loyal customer base and reassure them that their vehicle is in the safest of hands.
About the role...
The ideal candidate will be working within our service reception team with the following tasks:
Dealing with customer complaints and enquiries and offering advice
Service & Repair appointments.
Checking in and hand over of vehicles
Building jobs and ordering necessary parts
Updating customers on the status of their vehicle
Invoicing completed work.
Explaining the work completed to customers.
Answering the telephone
Taking payments
Accepting and recording deliveries & returns
What we are looking for...
Motor Trade experience as a Service Advisor / Service Administrator / Service Receptionist within a Car Dealer or Service Centre
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office packages and Motor Trade DMS systems. Motor Trade experience as a Service Advisor / Service Administrator / Service Receptionist within a Car Dealer or Service Centre.
Good knowledge and understanding of the motor industry, vehicles, parts & mechanics.
At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
Previous experience in a customer-facing role
Professional, helpful, and courteous manner
Enthusiastic and positive attitude
Outstanding communication skills
Willingness to learn.
Computer literate- full training on our systems provided.
Full UK Driving license
