Crynodeb

The successful candidate will develop and maintain a register of the critical assets, physical, information, people, and technology for site. This will include the development of vulnerability analyses and associated mitigation plans. The role holder will also work with business continuity and incident management teams to develop site response plans.

The role requires a good level of understanding of security and business resilience principles, particularly relating to the development of protection against a full range of threat vectors, targeted against personnel, assets (equipment, infrastructure, material) or information.  


Stakeholder engagement is a significant part of the Critical Asset Manager post and understanding the big picture in the delivery of local security and its link to national security is key

The successful candidate can expect to travel across the Defence Nuclear Enterprise and sites of the nuclear engineering community (under DG Nuclear teams) across the UK with occasional travel and overnight stays in Bristol, London, Clyde and Portsmouth.  

The position has line management responsibility and will be expected to develop, manage and lead any reports effectively.
