Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant
Location: Dawlish/Teignmouth
Contract: Full-Time
Pay: £98 per day
Hours: 08:30 am to 15:30 pm
Role:
- We are currently seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant for a school in Dawlish/Teignmouth, committed to creating an environment where kindness and respect are at the heart of everything we do.
- Our school is dedicated to delivering high-quality teaching and learning through a broad and engaging curriculum. We strive to provide each pupil with the opportunity to discover their own identity, achieve academic success, and experience personal growth.
- With exceptional expertise in safeguarding and a flexible approach to meeting individual needs, the school works closely with families to build positive relationships and foster high self-esteem.
- Our goal is to nurture caring and successful citizens, enhancing their life chances and encouraging them to positively impact those around them.
Requirements:
- Have experience working with children with SEN, either on a 1:1 basis or within a classroom setting.
- Be passionate about supporting SEN children.
- Be flexible, proactive, and patient.
- Communicate effectively as part of a team.
- Be committed to a full-time role.
- While experience in education is preferred, those with a background in support work often have transferable skills.
- Hold a valid driving licence (essential).
