To oversee the operational and strategic management of the business administration systems supporting the Directorate Psychiatric Liaison Services to ensure that facilities and resources are managed effectively in line with Core 24.

The post provides equal support to North Kent's two liaison psychiatry teams. It is therefore envisaged that 50% of the working week will be dedicated to Medway Liaison Psychiatry Team based at Medway Maritime Hospital and 50% to Dartford Liaison Psychiatry Team based at Darent Valley Hospital

The post is based at Medway Maritime Hospital and there is expectation that the post-holder will need to attend the Dartford Liaison Team at Darent Valley Hospital on a regular basis

The post holder must hold a full, valid, UK driving licence and have access to a car/vehicle to use for business purposes (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010).



To provide professional and managerial leadership to the administrative staff and related support services. To ensure that processes are of high quality and appropriately targeted and developed within a recognised framework.

The post holder, in collaboration with the Service Lead and Team leaders, will ensure that the service operates efficiently and effectively, achieving all the data quality, clinical activity and income targets.

The post-holder will ensure that the service is compliant with all appropriate with Trust policies and initiatives and will assist with implementing or developing required actions in support of efficient service delivery.
