Job Description:
The Bunker is a welcoming, community-focused café in the heart of Orford Park, and we’re looking for a reliable, friendly Café Assistant to join our team.
This role involves working three days a week, ideally Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, but we can be flexible for the right person. You’ll need to be comfortable working independently on quieter days, but support will be provided on busy ones.
Key Responsibilities:
Serving food and drinks to customers
Preparing simple meals and snacks
Handling payments (cash and card)
Keeping the café clean, tidy, and inviting
Restocking and maintaining displays
Delivering friendly and helpful customer service
Opening or closing the café when required
Requirements:
Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (essential)
A positive, can-do attitude
Good timekeeping and reliability
Ability to work independently and use initiative
Willingness to learn and contribute to a team environment
