Summary
As an IS Technician (Support) working within the Booker IS team, you will ensure service availability, security and performance across multiple systems to help improve customer satisfaction and cash profit. The ideal candidate will have experience of service management, escalation procedures, incident management, customer support and testing systems.
Within this role you will ensure that all service and support functions remain responsive to customer needs and adequate reporting and service standards are met.
- Manage the administration of the web site.
- Monitor system KPIs.
- Generate management information reporting.
- Support delivery of the website/ digital systems roadmap.
- External technology suppliers.
- Booker IS colleagues across all systems.
- Tesco Technology colleagues.
- IS Service Desk.
- Customers.
- Internal business customers across all parts of the Booker Group.
- Experience of working in IT or technical role with a strong customer support background
- Experience of using incident/service tool
- Experience in troubleshooting with systems end user
- Experience with test management tools, for example JIRA
- Experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test execution, defect tracking, and resolution.
- Experience of working with 3rd Party Suppliers and Vendors
- Pro-actively initiates, develops and maintains effective working relationships with team members
