The Job

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Service Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support and service to our clients in the field. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Duties

Install, maintain, and repair equipment at customer sites.
Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery.
Troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective solutions in a timely manner.
Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored support.
Document service activities and maintain accurate records of work performed.
Provide training and guidance to customers on equipment operation and maintenance.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while working on-site.
Qualifications

A degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred, but relevant experience will also be considered.
Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or electronic systems.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients.
Previous experience in a field service role is advantageous but not essential.
A valid driving licence is required for travel to client locations.
