Ramp Agents Required!
The Best Connection are currently recruiting for enthusiastic Ramp Agents to work at Luton Airport. This is an exciting opportunity to work for an industry leading Ground Handler, with excellent Career Opportunities! Pay: 12.49 per hour - £14.17 per hour depending on length of service & timings of shifts Hours: 30hrs contract (4 on / 4 off, AM & PM shifts available) + overtime available during busier periods Duration: Ongoing, Temp to Perm Opportunities Immediate Starts available! Role & Requirements of a Baggage Handler: Transportation of baggage and cargo between terminal buildings and aircraft Loading and unloading aircraft within specified turnaround times Sortation of baggage, scanning tags for flights, loading containers and trailers, and delivery/collection of mail and freight from various airside locations All duties will include the use of large goods vehicles or specialist ground handling equipment An awareness of health and safety and safe working practices is important, although full training is provided Full UK manual driving licence Ability to undertake continuous Heavy lifting (up to 25kg) Ability and willingness to work outside in all weather conditions Must be prepared and able to work rotating shift patterns (early and late shifts) over a 7-day working week, as stated above Please note: Due to the nature of our business, we are regulated by the CAA (Civil Aviation Authority), therefore it is compulsory for all applicants to provide or be willing to obtain the following: Be willing to apply for a Criminal Record Check (Paid for by us!) Have a full 5-year checkable history (Obtained for you by us!) Be able to provide a full 5-year address history Have an in date and valid Photo ID (Passport, Driving Licence, ID Card etc) Be willing to attend Aviation Security Training Courses Be over the age of 18 years old Benefits of working for The Best Connection On-going Assignments Holiday Entitlement Excellent Pay rates On-Line Payslips Pension Provision
