Warmley Park School and College School is a South Gloucestershire maintained special school. It is a nurturing environment for pupils with a broad range of SEND needs whose ages range from 2 to 19. The School provides for pupils with severe learning difficulties (SLD) and profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), as well as those with complex autistic spectrum conditions (ASC). We are seeking a friendly, organised, and professional Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our school. Hours: 15 hours per week, term time only. Thursday & Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm.
Salary: Hay 12 (£24,404 pro rata, actual salary £8509).
This is a fixed term post for 12 months subject to a budgetary review.The RoleAs the first point of contact for students, parents, staff, and visitors, you will play a key role in ensuring our school runs smoothly. Your duties will include:Greeting and assisting visitors, ensuring safeguarding procedures are followedHandling phone calls and emails, providing excellent communication and customer serviceManaging the schools Management Information System - Arbor (including supporting attendance records and issuing correspondence)Supporting administrative tasks, including filing, photocopying, and scheduling appointmentsAssisting staff and students with general enquiriesAbout YouWe’re looking for a warm, approachable, and highly organised team player who thrives in a busy environment. You should have:A minimum of 3 GCSEs at C grade or above, including English and MathsPrevious experience in a receptionist/administrative role (school experience desirable)Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong IT skills (Microsoft Office and Arbor experience beneficial)A positive and patient attitude with a good sense of humour.An understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality proceduresHow to Apply:
