The Electrical Inspector LBS-009 plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and compliance of electrical systems across various facilities. In addition, you will be responsible for preparing detailed inspection reports, documenting any deficiencies, and collaborating on corrective actions. Responsibilities
Conduct thorough inspections of electrical installations and systems to ensure compliance with codes and safety standards.
Review technical drawings and specifications to verify adherence to safety regulations.
Identify and document any deficiencies or unsafe practices during inspections.
Develop detailed inspection reports outlining findings, recommendations, and corrective actions.
Collaborate with contractors and facility managers to address inspection results and implement safety measures.
Stay updated on changes to electrical codes, regulations, and industry standards to ensure compliance.
Provide technical guidance and support to project teams on electrical safety practices and standards.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; an associate or bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field is preferred.
Valid electrical inspector certification or equivalent licensing.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical inspection or a related field.
Strong knowledge of local, state, and national electrical codes and standards.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including blueprints and schematics.
