Salary: £42,000 - £50,000 Per Annum, Negotiable Depending on Experience, Plus performance and yearly bonus

The Company
Well regarded local plumbing and heating company offering a wide range of services from installation of high efficiency boilers to the servicing and maintenance/repair of existing systems.
They are now seeking a skilled and dedicated Heating Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in heating systems, ensuring the efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of various heating equipment. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Duties
• Install, maintain, and repair heating systems in residential and commercial properties
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure systems are operating efficiently and safely
• Diagnose faults in heating equipment and implement effective solutions
• Assemble components using hand tools and power tools, ensuring compliance with safety standards
• Perform plumbing tasks associated with heating installations, including pipe fitting and soldering
• Carry out heavy lifting as required during installations or repairs
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
• Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as carpenters, when necessary for comprehensive project completion
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations while on-site
Qualifications
• Proven experience as a Heating Engineer or similar role is preferred
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot heating systems effectively
• Proficiency in basic maths for measurements and calculations related to installations
• Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
• Ability to weld and assemble components as needed for various projects
• A valid driving licence is required
• Physical capability to perform heavy lifting tasks associated with the role
• Relevant qualifications or certifications in plumbing and heating engineering or related fields are required.
