Smart Solutions are currently recruiting for a Recycling Sort Line Operative to join our successful client based in the in Great Blakenham, Ipswich, IP6 area. Our client who specializes in Waste Management.
The right person will have to follow the shift pattern dayshift & nightshift
Pay rate: £11.60ph
Overtime: £17.4 paid above 45h per week
Shift patterns: Monday to Friday rotating shifts: two weeks on dayshift 5am-4pm following by two weeks on nightshift 5pm-4am
Duties & Responsibilities
As a Recycling Sort Line Operative you will be responsible for the removal of recyclable material and non-recyclable materials from a moving conveyor in a safe and productive manner ensuring that pick rate targets are achieved.
- Separating & placing materials for further recycling in the appropriate chute
- General Housekeeping and cleaning of machines & the operator cabins
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Ability to follow shift patterns and work both days & night shifts
- Good team working skills and good communication skills
- Good physical condition to handle the demands of the role
- Ability to spend a significant amount of time on your feet
