We are expanding and as such this is an exceptionally exciting opportunity, as the successful applicant will head up our brand-new store due to open in Macclesfield soon!
We are currently looking for a Store Manager to join our Wynsors team in Macclesfield (SK11 6AR). Full time hours, weekdays / weekends.
This is an excellent opportunity to join Wynsors who are experts in the footwear industry. We value each other and collectively work to getting it right every time for our customers.
What are we looking for in our Store Managers?
Personality, a friendly helpful nature that will consistently deliver that personal touch and warm welcome to all our customers. You will love bringing our products to life to meet our customer’s individual needs, be great at selling and delivering first class results with your great communication skills. You will love keeping up to date with our new ranges, seasonal and high street trends. Take pride in making sure your shop floor and stockroom are spotless. You will be given real responsibility from day one owning full operational accountability for your store and your team with strong support from your Area Manager. You will need to be organised and ready to adapt to challenges on a day-to-day basis.
You will need to deliver against ambitious KPI’s. You will be experienced in inventory management and stock control, with a flair for merchandising, the ability to maximise sales, plan and organise workloads, and develop business relationships with schools, and plan trading events. You will inspire your team to achieve, through your recruitment, and ongoing training and coaching and ensure your store provides the best customer experience.
To be successful, you will need to be flexible, in both when you work and the way you work, as adapting to customer demand is key to our success as a business. Here at Wynsors we work Sunday to Saturday on a rota basis so you will need to be flexible. You may also be required to work at another location (within reasonable travelling distance). If flexibility cannot be met, we will be unable to process your application further.

We have high expectations of our Store Managers, but in return we offer a variety of benefits including, training and development, on the job feedback and coaching, competitive salaries plus performance bonus, uniform, generous staff discount, length of service days. Please note, as this position is for a new store, the initial training will take place at our Crewe store (CW1 2AH).
