Location: Lamlash, Isle of Arran
Terms: 30 hours per week, Full Time. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends and additional hours over school holiday periods would be required
Salary/Rate: £20,250 per annum

About Us:
AYF is a multi-award winning charity on Arran that aims to engage the young people of the island in fun and meaningful youth work activities. Based in the youth cabins behind the high school in Lamlash, we open every day of the week for a great variety of activities and events.
About the role:
This role will assist in the planning and delivery of youth work programmes and services that will enable young people to increase in self-confidence, better realise their potential and show more responsibility and increased leadership, ultimately helping them to develop socially, physically and mentally.
Key tasks:
- Establishing relationships and a style of working that will enable the young people to safely learn and develop, in accordance with the principles and values of youth work
- Helping in the delivery and development of youth work programmes and services, in close collaboration with Youth Work Project Manager and senior Youth Workers
- Promoting the participation and involvement of young people in the planning and activities of AYF
- Help deliver Dynamic Youth and Youth Achievement awards schemes
- Contributing to the promotion and marketing of AYF activities, both online and through things like school visits
- Assist in fundraising applications and activities to sustain the project
