An exciting opportunity has become available for a proactive, independent, and organised individual to take on a key administration role in our busy Renal service.
The post holder will oversee and manage patients along the Pre-Transplantation pathway from initial referral through to scheduling of procedure or discharge. They will heavily rely on strong communication skills whilst work closely with clinical staff to ensure patients move quickly and efficiently through the patient pathways. This is a fast-paced department and would suit an individual with a proactive approach.
· To oversee and manage patients along the Pre-Transplantation pathway from initial referral through to scheduling of procedure or discharge.
· To work closely with clinical staff to ensure patients move quickly and efficiently through the Pre-Transplantation pathway
· To ensure effective use of all resources including working to reduce DNA rates and ensuring timely assessments for patients
· To work in reference to the PTL to ensure 18-week compliance within the Pre-Transplantation pathway
· To provide support to the Pre-Transplantation MDT to advance patients through the pathway to prepare them for their Transplant surgery.
