Are seeking a professional Digital and Social Media Marketing Officer
to join our team in Welshpool Mid Wales (starting May 2025)
Temporary Role 9- 12 months to provide Maternity Cover with the potential for a Permanent role
(Full Time 37 hours per week with 1.30pm finish on a Friday. Occasional out-of-hours work required)
Salary – £24,00.00 per annum
About Us:
Cambrian Training Company, based in Welshpool, offers work-based learning apprenticeships across Wales. We also run two other businesses: Trailhead Fine Food and The Trewythen self-catering accommodation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and manage social media campaigns across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn and potentially set up a new CTC account on TikTok) using Adobe tools.
• Update website content (WordPress) to improve engagement and SEO.
• Create and distribute a quarterly e-newsletter via Mailchimp.
• Design email marketing campaigns and analyse their performance.
• Maintain consistent branding across digital channels.
• Monitor digital marketing trends, campaign results, and competitor activities.
• Support business development with marketing strategies to build relationships and drive leads.
• Assist with organizing marketing events, including graduations, awards, fairs, and competitions.
Skills & Qualifications:
• Experience in digital marketing and social media marketing.
• Proficient with all social media platforms and tools and software including Later Google Workspace/Microsoft Office, WordPress, and Adobe software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Creative with an eye for design.
• Ability to analyse digital data and optimize strategies.
• Full UK driving license and flexibility for travel/events.
• Welsh language skills are a plus.
• Marketing-related qualifications are advantageous.
