Tudor Employment Agency are currently recruiting for Senior Support Workers to work for our client based in Birmingham (B42).
Our client is a provider of care and support to children & young people who have complex mental health disorders, learning disabilities, and emotional and behavioral difficulties.
As a Senior Support Worker, you will:
Provide effective monitoring, support and supervision to the staff team always acting as a positive role model in line with Care Regulations
Manage staff rotas, complete daily shift queries and ensure handover is completed to a high standard
Provide on call cover as arranged by the Home Manager
Ensure all required documentation and records are completed in line with requirements
Ensuring positive relationships with the children & young people, and always safeguarding them
Essential Skills / Qualifications / Experience:
Full UK Driving License
Minimum of 2 years’ experience within Children’s Residential Service
Hold a Diploma Level 3 for Residential Childcare or Equivalent (Qualified)
Excellent Communication
Basic Computer Skills
Hours of Work: 15 hour days, 1 on 2 off rota (including sleep in’s – approx. 6 x per month)
Salary: £25,300 - £26,800 per annum
