This is an exciting opportunity to join a food manufacturing business where you will be responsible for carrying out accurate, timely, and efficient testing of products and raw materials to agreed standards
This role would suit a chemistry, biology, or food science graduate with some relevant industry laboratory experience.
My client needs someone to start ASAP.
Monday – Friday 8am-4pm then Mon-Fri 10am – 6pm.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a progressive business and work with some well recognised products.
So, if you have the following knowledge and skills please get in touch
Basic understanding of laboratory test methods and related instrumentation e.g. food analysis tests
Basic ‘wet chemistry’ laboratory skills
Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work as part of a team
Desirable but not essential:
Food safety training
Laboratory health and safety training
Ability to maintain and calibrate simple laboratory equipment
Ability to work independently when required
