The Opportunity
This post represents an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to join the school of nursing and midwifery in Keele University’s Faculty of Medicine & Health Sciences.

You will be expected to make a significant contribution to the University’s teaching and scholarship in your field of expertise. You will undertake module leadership, or a programme lead role in the BSc Health and Social Care programme or develop into these roles. Lead and/or contribute towards associated programmes and undertake teaching and administrative duties efficiently and effectively within the guidelines operated by the school. You will contribute to the ongoing development of the health and social care curriculum at undergraduate level and be an active member of the Heath and Social Care team. You will support the implementation of the new Health and Social Care programme, developing new and maintaining current relationships in the wider University, and with Partners and External Stakeholders.

You will develop regionally, nationally, and internationally recognised scholarship activity over time. Initially the role will be structured to enable development of scholarship activity within the educational role. Over time, there is an expectation that scholarship activity will develop and expand, aligning to and complementing existing areas of higher education scholarship within the School.

You will possess a Health and Social Care or Related Professional Qualification at degree level, or above. You will have experience of teaching students in a Health and Social Care or Higher Education setting and have relevant experience of Health and Social Care practice in the UK.
