The Appeals and Reviews Officer - PO2 plays a crucial role in the assessment and adjudication of appeals and reviews within our organization. Responsibilities
Review and assess appeals and requests for re-evaluation in a timely manner
Conduct thorough investigations, collecting and analyzing relevant documentation and evidence
Prepare and present comprehensive reports outlining findings and recommendations for decision-making
Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders to clarify issues and gather additional information
Maintain accurate and detailed records of all appeals and review processes
Ensure all decisions are compliant with regulatory guidelines and organizational policies
Support training initiatives for staff regarding appeals procedures and best practices
Requirements
A relevant degree or equivalent qualification in public administration, law, or a related field
Demonstrated experience in handling appeals, reviews, or administrative processes
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex documents and regulations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for report writing and stakeholder engagement
Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously
Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills and a commitment to accuracy
Familiarity with compliance frameworks and legal standards related to appeals processes
