Summary
We are looking for experienced Data Cabling Engineers that can terminate Cat5e & Cat6 cable as well as having a knowledge of Fibre
Competent in the structured cabling installation of Cat5E UTP/STP, Cat6 UTP/STP
Terminate and test cables within patch panels and data outlets.
Responsible for the installation, test and commission of data cabling and containment systems. Work typically includes the installation of structured cabling, including UTP, STP, FTP, Co-AX, general common cables, single-mode fibre and multi-mode fibre cables with all necessary containment and associated connection units, installation of earthing and bonding cables. Competent in the installation of floor mounted and wall mounted data cabinets/racks within comms rooms.
Competent in the installation of cable tray, basket tray, PVC and metal trunking, PVC and metal conduit and cable matting within the above premises.
