* Hours: 37.5 hours per week - Full rota over 7 days (8 am – 8 pm)

Your Role:
We are looking for a dedicated Endoscopy Decontamination Technician to join our team. In this critical role, you will ensure the
safe, effective decontamination of flexible endoscopes, collaborating with clinical teams to maintain the highest hygiene and
safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Reprocess flexible endoscopes — ensuring thorough cleaning, disinfection, and reassembly.
Maintain accurate records — ensure all activity is logged in line with Quality Management Systems and National Guidelines.
Follow Standard Operating Procedures — ensuring safety, compliance, and efficiency.
Assist with logistics — including the collection, delivery, and safe transport of medical devices.
Ensure health and safety standards — adhere to all infection control and safety protocols.
What We’re Looking For:
Essential:
* GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
* Ability to work accurately under pressure.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* A commitment to patient safety and high standards.
Desirable:
* Experience in medical device decontamination.
* Understanding of infection control, health, and safety practices.
