This role is for a permanent full-time audiology assistant practitioner to provide support with a variety of patient-facing clinical and administrative duties. Further training will be provided where indicated in order to fulfil job requirements, with the possibility to participate in an apprenticeship to develop towards an audiology qualification.

The Audiology Team who you will be an essential and valued member of, deals with the assessment and management of hearing and balance disorders. The ideal candidate should be able to multi-task in a fast-paced working environment, have a friendly manner with colleagues and patients alike and be able to prioritise their work in order to deal with a variety of demands.

The suitable applicant must be able to work in a busy office environment with excellent multi-tasking skills, practical and logical problem-solving skills, able to think and work independently but also ability to work within clinical protocols with a real interest in direct clinical care.

After the necessary in-house training is completed, the post-holder will do their own patient-facing clinics involving digital hearing aid troubleshooting, hearing aid maintenance and small repairs.

Addiionally they will do office administration including stock maintenance and data inputting, to support the audiology team and audiology coordinator.

Being an excellent team-player is a must.
