What is the job role?

To provide a complementary service to that provided by teachers and support staff in order to address the needs of children who need help and support to overcome barriers to learning both inside and outside school in order to achieve to their full potential. By so doing to contribute to the work of the Academy in raising standards of attainment, improving attendance, reducing exclusions and maintaining good standards of behaviour.

Work Pattern

37 hours per week

39 weeks term time only

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Pastoral Inclusion Lead. You will need to be physically fit and have lots of energy. You will deliver PSED programmes and support Speech and language groups. You will deliver sports based after school clubs and lunchtime clubs for vulnerable children and support with PE enrichment. We are looking for someone to establish and maintain contact with the families/carers of pupils receiving support keeping them informed about progress, to secure positive family/carer involvement and support. To lead on Attendance and promote high standards of attendance and punctuality.
