Located within the Paisley Community Family Wellbeing team, the post of ASN family wellbeing co-ordinator represents an exciting new development within the successful Renfrewshire Family Wellbeing Service. This post will lead on developments to support families of children with additional support needs to access out of school and holiday opportunities in conjunction with the Family Wellbeing multi-agency partnership steering group and will also lead and manage the ASN playscheme during the spring and summer school holidays.

You will hold Relevant practice qualification at SCQF Level 7 or equivalent, have experience of working with and supporting children and young people with complex needs and their families, experience of managing and supporting staff; and relevant experience of inter-agency partnership working.

It is essential you have Knowledge of ASN policies and procedures including Care Inspectorate requirements, knowledge of budget management, knowledge of implementing a variety of risk assessments aswell as Knowledge of training required to run an effective ASN playscheme.

Effective interpersonal, communication skills and a genuine commitment to achieving the best outcomes for children and families are also essential.

It is desirable you hold a driving licence but not essential.

Please note that this post is temporary, subject to business needs and funding until 31st March 2027 or until the requirement for the post ceases, whichever date is the earlier.
