Working closely alongside other members of the wider MDT, this new role will lead on the development and implementation of inpatient dietetic care pathways for patients presenting to our frailty units; and the successful applicant will also cover an inpatient caseload on these units.
The department is actively involved in the education of other health care professionals and student dietitians, and you will be expected to participate in this training.

You need to have a recognised degree/diploma in Dietetics, be registered with the HCPC and have clinical knowledge and experience across a variety of disease states and dietetic therapies. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be a good team worker with the ability to use their own initiative.
To deliver a high quality, evidence-based Nutrition and Dietetic service to inpatients and outpatients for Barking Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust (BHRUT).
To be responsible for providing specialist nutritional care including assessment, dietary therapy and monitoring to inpatients on the frailty unit.

Our patients are benefitting from ourWomen’s Health Hubin Ilford; anAgeing Well Centrein Hornchurch; and Community Diagnostic Centres (CDC) atBarking Community Hospitaland atSt George’s Health and Wellbeing Hubin Hornchurch.
These CDCs are open 12 hours a day, 7 days a week and are providing an extra 88,000 scans a year.
