Summary


We have an exciting opportunity to grow our team leader team we are looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals to be a Band 7 Team Leader within our Theatres at Scarborough and Bridlington Hospitals.

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about patient care and dedicated to making improvements through effective leadership and management within our team. You will be able to communicate at all levels within the multi-disciplinary team to help drive our service forward and provide high standards of safe patient care at all times.

As a Team Leader you will have excellent leadership skills and will embrace the challenge of working in a highly demanding and diverse environment, while actively supporting the team to ensure high standards of care are delivered.

As this is a leadership position, you will be expected to provide managerial support inclusive of HR issues, Workforce, and change management.

The successful candidate will have responsibility for Theatres areas on both sites. The activity in these areas comes from a variety of surgical specialties for both adults and paediatrics and includes acute, trauma and maternity theatres.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to lead our Theatre teams; you will be supported in the role by a Theatre and PACU lead and Operations Manager.

Team working is vital in this role and you must demonstrate strong leadership skills ensuring that you are able to communicate effectively with the entire theatre team. The post holder will inspire and motivate all grades of staff and will be expected to display personal qualities of empathy, compassion and care for others both colleagues and patients, being at all times a role model.

As a post with a managerial or leadership component supporting services based across multiple sites, you may be required to travel as part of your role.
